Responsible Hub: When a personal decision becomes an impact project

Hi, I'm Czech Elvia Karina, an Ecuadorian professional with over a decade of experience in education, sustainability and community work. For years, in Ecuador, I had the privilege of leading and accompanying initiatives that articulated the academy, communities and public and private organizations, always for the same purpose: generate real and sustainable impact.

My professional path has been marked by deeply human projects: from educational innovation and the reactivation of community gardens for the reforestation of endemic species, to the cultural preservation of the Cacique Baltacho Museum; the training of women entrepreneurs to keep alive the ancestral fabric of the straw nozzle; the accompaniment of artisans in the development of their products; and the diagnosis of chronic child malnutrition in rural communities of Ecuador.

Each experience reaffirmed a conviction that today guides my work: social and environmental responsibility should not be a discourse, but a living practice, built from the territory, active listening and collaboration.

This process involved going a new way: the validation of my professional qualifications —including my Master Degree—, the formal creation of the company, compliance with standards and regulations in the United States, and the design and implementation of the first projects in this new context.

None of this would have been possible without the support of people and institutions who acted as true allies on the way, such as Prospera, In America With Grace, Florida SBDC at the University of Central Florida, Seminole State College, Florida Department of Health in Seminole County, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, my team in Ecuador and, in a very special way, my husband.

Responsible Hub is more than a consultant: is a hub of connection, a space where companies, communities and projects are articulated to generate measurable, human and sustainable impact.

It is also a way of continuing the projects developed in Ecuador and at the same time opening up new opportunities in the US market.

With humility and deep conviction, I place my knowledge, experience and values at the service of this project of life. Because I firmly believe that when companies connect with people and territories, the impact multiplies.
